Advertisement Essay

Many canines, dogs, have horrid breath. For instance, I asked my neighbors and my family about their dogs and all of them basically told me, "yes, our dogs have terrible breath. We could do anything for a solution." One day I looked through a magazine and I found it "Dentasticks"! The only reason I did see this classified advertisement was the fact that the company whow was promoting this particular product has a goofy looking dog and a passed out bird on the cover. Bingo.
In the advertisement, that I had gazed upon, there is a dog, basset hound, and a bird, canary. From the looks of it the two animals are in a house which indicates that they are pets. The bird laid there on the bottom of his cage, the dog is obviously jumping since his ears flopping out and he is also cross eyed with his mouth open. The dog had breathed on the bird and that is what caused the bird to faint. But it seems that the dog is unaware that he has horrid breath.
The tones that I had chose are silly, playful, and humorous. I chose silly because the dog has a very goofy look on his face, and the bird looks like he is just pretending to be passed out, but he's just exaggerating. Then I chose playful because the dog looks like he's trying to play with the bird. And finally humorous because the dog's stenchy breath made the bird faint, plus the dog looks really goofy and it makes it funny.
In the advertisement about "Dentasticks" there is a really cute basset hound and a passed out canary that makes it humorous. The reason why the company made it that way so it would get peoples attention to buy their product. "Dentasticks" do help dogs bad breath go away.
